Leaving the desert…

it has been an amazing summer of road trips (and yes, October is summer in the desert) and I am going cap it off with a little BLK13 family reunion.

That’s right, Rochester here I come. Hide your beers and take your children off the streets.

I will hit the road leaving you with some picures from Moab, which was the last  stop on the way to Interbike this year. The Canadian and I did a shuttle ride from the top of Burro Pass all the way to  the river.  If you have never made the haul to Moab, get in the car and go do this right now.  It is a full day of singletrack, from the top of the mounatins above the trees, all the way to the red rocks and the Colorado river. That means a lot of coasting and a lot of goddamn fun. We were fortunate enough to run into some good people on our shuttle, like This Guy who was packing the flask while the Canadian was carrying the beer.

This seemed like a great place to chill about 1/3 of the way down

Its just turned into riding season here but for now its time to load up Travelers Check and get to the airport. Those cold rainy streets of upstate NY aren’t going to ride themselves now are they? I hear there is some Bike Polo goinmg down on sunday…So if you read this site and I haven’t met you before, come on out and say hello.
