waiting for a package from UPS to get delivered completely blows. Not being home and anticipating it’s going to be sitting on the doorstep and then arriving home from a long day at work and having it not be there also, completely blows. but, it happens. and, in the big picture of things, it doesn’t really matter. shit will get delivered on Monday. And to answer bobby’s question, it does come in 48.
Anyways, when it comes down to it, freecoasters totally don’t matter, in the big picture way of thinking. And in a weird way, they totally do. We buy freecoasters to put on our little bikes ( or big bikes, whatever you fancy) so we can do some sweet rollback bars spins because rollback barspins make us happy. Well, maybe I am just speaking for myself, but we do and buy these things because they lead to a bigger, happier picture. I know, pretty ground breaking analysis. Who thought buying a $150 freecoaster would cause someone to go into self analysis mode, but it has. See, my brother Bobby and I were talking aboutfreecoasters today when we where in the visitors waiting room at Park Ridge hospital waiting to see my Dad, who was getting an angioplasty procedure done. For those that don’t follow, Angioplaty surgery is when they put a balloon in your blocked artery and pump it up to open the artery up. Also, another step they can do is when they place a stent in the artery to open shit up a little. So, that ultimately means that to get to this point, your artery must be blocked. Which, one of my Dad’s was. And it also means that he had a heartattack. Which means I was and still am scared shitless. I was feeling very awake, if that makes sense. It was like a big ‘reality’ kick in the balls and a ‘wake the fuck up!’ slap to the face. i believe it has for me, and I hope it has for my brothers and for my dad.
And while we were at the hospital, I found out that Puffy from Lake Ave Pontillos died last night from Flu complications. scary shit man. RIP Jay.
